You've heard it said a million times, but it's consistently true: preparation is everything in home improvement. When we paint the interior of your home, we take great care to properly groom your walls before applying the first coat. This process includes (depending on the walls' condition):

  • Washing
  • Spackling
  • Sanding
  • Priming (when necessary)
A primer is designed to make a wall less porous and ensure a uniform coverage, but is often unnecessary when using certain colors and paints

The number of paint coats we apply depends on the initial color, the new color, and the texture of the walls. For an interior job, the ultimate goal is good surface coverage, as we want to make sure the paint is thoroughly worked into the walls without revealing crooked lines or splotchy finishes. After the first coat, we will evaluate the surface to see if it needs a full second coat. Often, all the walls need are a few minor touchups. Inspection is an important part of our process, and we continually consult with the client to make sure all expectations are met.

If a customer notices anything about the project that doesn't satisfy our pre-arranged agreement, we'll immediately fix it at no cost. The customer's approval is our number one concern.
