Experience: We've been painting homes in Portland since 1993, and we've seen almost everything you can see on a job site. We're familiar with the most common painting mistakes and how to avoid them. And we can overcome even the toughest painting challenges.

Attention to detail: The difference between a good paint job and a bad one is often barely perceptible at first glance, but becomes more noticeable over time. We make sure we've covered every detail—from proper preparation to using the right paint to creating razor-sharp edges—so that your home always looks topnotch.

Safety: Painting can be hazardous work, whether you're leaning off a ladder's edge or working with solvents and dust. As professional contractors, we do all the hard work so you don't have to. And because we're fully licensed and insured, we put all the liability on our shoulders, not yours.

We guarantee our work: Our base warranty is typically three years, and goes up from there based on the materials and application methods you request. For the higher-end jobs, we typically offer a five-year warranty.

Credentials

We're happy to include a link to our contracting license with the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board (CCB), along with scanned copies of our CCB registration and workman's comp liability. We're also including links to several notifications required by the CCB and PDF links with general advice on how to avoid contracting and paint pitfalls.

When visiting the CCB page, customers can search for consumer claims made against AZH Painting (we've never had a claim) or other contractors in the state. It's always important to do your homework before hiring a contractor, as disreputable contractors will cost you time, money, and heartache.
